Joseph Simonetti, DDS

Dr Joseph Simonetti grew up in West Hempstead, New York and attended the University of Hartford where he was the first student to be selected to dental school after college. He graduated from the University of West Virginia School of Dentistry in 1973. Soon after, he partnered with Dr Robert Teisch and they opened a new office at 117 West Main St, East Islip in 1978. Dr Joe was a mentor to one young patient in particular, Robert Domozych, who went to dental school and eventually became a partner in the practice. Soon later, Robert’s brother Richard joined the practice, followed by Dr Joe’s sons: Scott, Stephen, and Michael. Dr. Joe’s daughter Sara is beginning her journey to also follow in her family's footsteps to become a dentist.

In 2006 the practice of Simonetti and Domozych proudly moved next door to our brand-new office at its present location at 127 West Main St. Dr Joe has been serving the East Islip and surrounding communities for over 50 years. He is an avid golfer and can be frequently seen in his golf knickers and matching golf shoes. Dr Joe has been an accomplished artist for over half a century and many of his works of art can be seen hanging on the walls of the dental office. He is the father of five boys and one daughter. His four sons are Scott, Marc, Dean, Stephen and Michael and his daughter is Sara. Dr Joe and his wife Laura enjoy boating and spending time with friends.
