Dr Robert Teisch started the now “Simonetti & Domozych DDS” dental practice back in 1966. He started out as a solo dentist in the Brentwood office after being a US Air Force Dentist for 6 years. He went to Brooklyn College for undergraduate studies and NYU Dental School. He brought in Dr. Joseph Simonetti as his associate in 1974 and eventual partner in 1978 when they opened the East Islip office together. He practiced as a dentist for 30 years ending his career at 62 years old. He passed away at 74 years of age. He grew up in Brooklyn and moved to East Islip for his entire career to live locally as an active member of the community. In his free time he loved to play tennis and was an avid fisherman. When he retired he moved to Florida to spend the remainder of his years in the sun catching all the fish he could dream of. Dr Teisch was married to Edna and they had two children together named Wendy and Jeff. We thank him endlessly for what he created for this community.
Dr. Robert Domozych has spent his whole life in East Islip except for the four years he attended University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. Upon graduating in 1985, he has been a partner in the current practice of Simonetti & Domozych.
The dental practice opened in 1966 when Dr. Bob Domozych was just seven years old. His whole family, including Dr. Rich Domozych, have been patients long before joining the practice.
Dr. Bob currently lives in Blue Point, NY with his wife Stacy. He has two daughters, Renee Pride and Rachel Domozych. Both daughters are healthcare professionals and Dr. Pride is married to Robby Pride. They currently live in Boston, Massachusetts with their son Maximus. Dr. Bob retired in 2021.
He is greatly missed by so many patients and all of the team at Simonetti & Domozych DDS. We thank him so much for all that he did for this community and to grow this practice into what it is today.
